The Recycling Journey: Aluminum Cans
We recently discovered the existence of an initiative called Recycle Right New York (RRNY) which has a passion for the creation and sharing of free educational resources to help us know before we throw.
One of its offerings is about aluminum cans, because unlike other materials such as plastic or paper, aluminum is infinitely recycable. It does not loose any quality or instructional integrity due to the recycling process. Yet, do we know where the used aluminum cans go after we toss them into the bin?
The attached blog post takes us through the six-stage process that transforms used aluminum cans into renewed, marketable products.
